Maxim is taking his first steps these days, with help. He is eager to keep trying and to take a little more weight on his feet and legs with each passing day. His crutches should be ready by the 11th and his first physical therapy appointment to begin training with them is set for the 15th. A great adventure ahead for him, no doubt. I thought you might enjoy seeing the beginnings of his new life up on his feet.

Beautiful! In church last Sunday we prayed for Maxim and praised God for his progress in the past year. I keep thinking back to the little boy who was scooting all over the floor at the Thornton's last December, with his legs curled up under him. Now they are stretched out and starting to hold weight.
Thank you Lord for your blessings!

Oh my! I'm sitting in a restaurant with free wifi here in Colorado - crying with joy at watching your little video. I echo Martita's words - I can't help but think of that little guy a year ago at Thornton's, sitting on Melinda's lap, pulling himself here and there - and look at him now! God is so GOOD!
I thought Maxim would never be able to walk and now he is walking, almost by himself. Keep up the good work, Maxim Campau! Love, Anna Lise
The doctors did such a good job. It is amazing to see Maxim walking. Love, Celina
Snow Sunday today (17 inches--bumper snow for south Jersey!) so we had a chance to catch up with our friends' blogs. Love to you all! Martita
