Dear Maxim

This is just a hodge podge of life around our place and the surrounding area. Maxim, we are just a family living out the day to day of working and learning, enjoying each other's company and God's blessings. We are not rich in the material sense, from the typical American perspective. Yet we know we richly blessed by God. Abundantly. Our life in this little house is happy, safe, healthy. We have such freedom in this country. And resources to the point where we have a hard time choosing sometimes, exactly what to buy. This is where you will soon join the Campau family . For some reason, my longing to hold you and welcome you is especially strong today. What an adjustment thiswill be for you. What an adjustment for all of us. It is a journey we didn't really imagine we'd ever be on just a year ago , yet hear we are. As I write this note to you, I believe you are still completely unaware that someone on the other side of the world has already fallen in love with you. We know what you love to play with, that your brown eyes match your brother's, and that your middle name will be Matthew. The wagon and booster seat are waiting for you in the back porch. It is lovely, as blessed as we are right now, to anticipate that life as we know it will never be the same when you come home Maxim. What we thought was complete will now be broadened by God as we carry you through the front door. You are beautiful. See you soon.

For those of you who are photo gurus, I would love you input. I want to post photos, but so far it's been a pain in the neck. I'm not the techy I need to be yet. Any words of encouragement?

So understand your longing! It is an odd feeling to trust God to care for your child, when you have never held them yet! I almost feel like the "other woman" having held Maxim and know what it is like to look into those brown eyes...you will not be disappointed! Hope you get good news soon!
PS: However you do the photos they will be loved. I find SLIDE easiest to use.
