What a Beautiful Boy

We have now met Maxim face to face. After a long, overall sleepless, night on the train, we were introduced to him this morning. Shy for maybe three minutes tops, he then warmed right up. He is tiny and fragile yet full of joy and energy. And all around us, more children waiting for homes.

Sorry no way to post pictures at the moment. Daniel has disappeared with the camera and the jump drive.

Debbie, we had the pleasure of meeting Ola for just a few minutes and presenting the package to her, and Igor sends his greetings.

I can imagine you had one of the most beautiful days of your lives. Did Maxim get to find out he has a family now? Oh, I can't wait to see the pictures!

Hi there,
I just finished reading what you've posted so far. Just curious (and I don't expect any detail at this point) have you been able to get very much history of Maxim's family, do you have an explanation why he is small for his age?
Will you only be able to visit him at the orphanage, or will you be able to take him "site seeing" Has he ever been out of the orphanage? Anyway, you are all in my prayers-may your journey continue to be safe and fruitful. (Hi to the homecoming crew in MI, Cyan, Brina and Joel)
